
(Patria) - Skeletal remains found at the Staničin most location in the municipality of Gacko.
Assistance in searching the terrain, after the site of a potential grave was marked, was provided by search dogs specially trained to locate human remains in the ground, the only dogs trained for this purpose, in cooperation with the Global Training Centre for Dog Training of the Norwegian People's Aid (NPA).
The discovered remains will be transferred to the "Sutina" City Cemetery in Mostar for autopsy, identification, and forensic processing.
Present at the exhumation are an investigator from the Special Department for War Crimes of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the Institute for Missing Persons (INO) of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP), necessary workers and machinery, as well as representatives of the police of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska, Trebinje Police Administration.
