FUP, Cantonal MUPs, and AF BiH Conduct Joint Exercise 'Within Borders 2025'

(Patria) - A joint tactical demonstration exercise codenamed "Within Borders 2025" organized by the Special Police Unit of the Federal Police Administration (SPJ FUP) was successfully conducted today at the Police Academy in Sarajevo.

Units from several cantonal ministries of internal affairs also participated in the exercise, including the MUP KS, MUP TK, MUP BPK, MUP SBK, as well as the FUP Unit for the Protection of Persons and Buildings (JOLIZ).

The highlight of the event was a tactical demonstration exercise that showcased the capabilities and coordination of special units in simulating a high-risk situation.

Four cantonal ministries and the Helicopter Group of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina participated in the demonstration exercise – a hostage crisis – along with approximately 150 members of special police forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This exercise confirmed the high level of training and readiness of police forces in Bosnia and Herzegovina for effective action in crisis situations.

There are 400 cadets undergoing theoretical training at the basic police training at the Police Academy, as well as 100 cadets from the MUP of Central Bosnia Canton undergoing practical police training, and it will take several years for the cadets to reach the level of training and readiness that was demonstrated today during the exercise.
