SARAJevo, (Patria) - In the derby match of the fifth round of BHT PL BiH, Željezničar and Sarajevo drew 2:2, in a great football performance on the field and atmosphere in the stands.
Milomir Odović, somewhat surprisingly, threw Filip Jazvić and Dženan Zajmović into the fire from the first minute, while Husref Musemić gave Benjamin Tatar a chance instead of the injured Aladin Šišić.
The hosts were more agile in the opening minutes, but as soon as the visiting players took possession of the ball, they took the lead. First, Kjosevski saved Rahmanović's shot in the 13th minute, and two minutes later Tatar scored, after Pavić had cleared the ball from the goal line.
It didn't take long for the 'Blues' to get back on track. Čurjurić found Pavić with a nice pass, and Pavić found Zajmović with a low cross. The home team's attacker beat the young Kovačević without any problems. It was the 21st minute. Six minutes later, Krpić had a good chance, but his header from a few meters went straight to Kovačević.
Željezničar continued to press. In the 33rd minute, there were protests from the home fans, but they were unjustified. Krpić scored, but Čurjurić was in an offside position when he shot, so the assistant Ibrišimbegović was correct to raise his flag.
The 'Bordo' team regained the lead in the 40th minute. Hebibović advanced on the right side, Kjosevski weakly cleared the ball directly to Ahmetović, who found Rahmanović. The visitors' 'number ten' routinely placed the ball into the net.
The home team had the last chance of the first half. Blagojević shot wide from a free kick about 25 meters out.
Vranješ came on from the start of the second half. In the 47th minute, another controversial situation. Kovačević dropped the ball after a collision with Krpić, Jazvić scored, but referee Kaljanac whistled for a foul on the goalkeeper. In the 52nd minute, Vranješ shot high over the bar after Krpić left him the ball.
Sarajevo responded in the 58th minute. Stanojević hit the crossbar with a long-range shot, and Ahmetović latched onto the rebound and shot wide. Two minutes later, the visitors' furthest forward attacker shot well from an angle on the right, but Kjosevski was in position.
In the 65th minute, Krpić had a great chance, but after his header, the ball went wide of Sarajevo's goal. In the 73rd minute, Zajmović headed the ball brilliantly and scored his second goal of the match to make it 2:2. Adukor missed a great opportunity to give Sarajevo the lead again in the 86th minute.
There were no further major excitements until the end of the match, and the derby finished 2:2. Special praise should be given to the players and fans of both teams, who offered a football spectacle tonight, as the Sarajevo derby deserves.
