Football Federation of BiH sold building in the center of Sarajevo for 4.5 million KM

(Patria) - Under the chairmanship of President Vice Zeljković, the 8th session of the Executive Board of the Football Federation (NS/FS) of BiH was held today. The session was held via video link.

At the session, the members of the Executive Board discussed very important issues regarding the work and activities of the NS/FS of BiH for the upcoming period.

One of the most important decisions relates to the sale of the building owned by the NS/FS of BiH (former administrative headquarters in Ferhadija street).

The sale of the former headquarters building through a Public Advertisement to the company KAPITAL BH d.o.o. from Sarajevo for the amount of 4,555,000 KM creates an opportunity for further investment in the infrastructure projects of the NS/FS of BiH.

The funds from the sale will be earmarked for the process of revitalization and reconstruction of existing facilities owned by the Federation, as well as the construction of new facilities in the upcoming period.

The draft Revenue and Expenditure Plan of the Federation for 2026 was also adopted, as well as the decision on the duration of the winter registration period in 2026 for amateur players of all levels of football competition within the NS/FS of BiH, from February 2, 2026, to March 13, 2026.

A decision on amending the Competition Regulations of the Premier Youth League of BiH U-19 for 2025/2026 was also adopted.

A decision on appointing new members of the Competition Committee and the Player Status and Transfer Committee of the NS/FS of BiH was also adopted, as well as a decision on appointing a project manager for the infrastructure projects of the NS/FS of BiH.

At the session, decisions were made on changing the list of delegates for the Wwin League of BiH for the 2025/26 competitive season, as well as changes to the list of safety coordinators for the Wwin League of BiH for the 2025/26 competitive season.

At today's session, decisions were adopted on forming an ad hoc Committee for International Relations, as well as consent for the presence of representatives of FSKS at the sessions of the IO NS/FS of BiH, Fuad Čolpa, exclusively upon submitted invitation and without the right to vote.

Due to the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee (No. FDD-26056) to close a part of the stadium for the next qualifying match, from January 9, 2026, i.e., the NS/FS of BiH is forced to reduce the number of commercial tickets for the playoff matches in Zenica on March 31, 2026.

By the decision of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, the NS/FS of BiH was punished for events during the qualifying match for the FIFA WC 2026™ Bosnia and Herzegovina - Romania.

The decision mandates that for the first next match that Bosnia and Herzegovina plays as the host, at least 20% (twenty percent) of the available seats must be closed, with such closure primarily implemented in the stands behind the goals.

Therefore, the SOUTH stand, blocks B, C, and D, totaling 1,508 seats, will be completely closed. In addition to this stand, a part of the WEST stand (the first three rows), totaling 592 seats, will also be closed, making a total of 2,100 seats that will not be used in this important match.
