SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In response to the investigation conducted by the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) since this morning, concerning suspicions of match-fixing, the Football Federation of BiH has issued a public statement.
"The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina unconditionally supports the actions and activities of all law enforcement agencies and bodies in Bosnia and Herzegovina in uncovering illegal and corrupt practices, by both individuals and organized groups. We are strongly committed and ready to provide all kinds of support and assistance to the competent state institutions, through the available documentation and information we possess, so that they can more successfully work on uncovering illegal and corrupt practices of individuals participating in the work of football bodies and organizations," reads the reaction of the umbrella organization of BiH football.
They add that "regardless of the fact that initial information suggests that these activities are at the entity level, which have full autonomy in their work according to statutes and organization," immeasurable damage has been done to the entire football in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
