Sarajevo footballers started preparations: Musemić announces player list reduction

(Patria) - Sarajevo footballers began their preparations for the continuation of the season with today's roll call and first training session.

The Maroon team is the leader in the standings with five points more than Zrinjski and as many as 13 points more than Široki Brijeg, and 15 more than their biggest rival Željezničar.

Husref Musemić, the strategist of the Maroon team, addressed the public, stating that he will shorten the list of players who will wear the Maroon jersey in the continuation of the season.

– There are many players at the roll call, but we will reduce that number tomorrow. We haven't changed the team much, which was our goal. We will do everything to stay in first place. The club has provided us with everything to prepare as best as possible, and I hope we will succeed. We take it game by game, and I hope we will remain in this position at the end of the season – said Musemić.

The strategist of Sarajevo also touched upon the new reinforcement of the Maroon club, Darko Lazić.

– I don't know if he will play at all. He is a player with a commendable career. The information we received indicates that he is a quality player, and now it is up to him to justify that and fight for a place in the team – concluded Musemić.

The Maroon team will conduct the initial training sessions in Sarajevo. This will be followed by a trip to Ljubuški, while the final part of the preparations will be held in Turkey. It should be noted that midfielder Samir Radovac, whose contract with the Maroon club has expired, did not appear at today's roll call and will not be a resident of Košev in the continuation of the season.
