Sarajevo footballers overcome Igman in Konjic after a hard-fought battle

(Patria) - Sarajevo footballers defeated hosts Igman 2:1 in Konjic today, in a match of the 11th round of the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The match could very easily have gone Igman's way, who, like Sarajevo, had many chances at 1:1. For Sarajevo, Nemanja Anđušić scored, along with an own goal by Edis Buturović. For Igman, Darko Bodul scored.

Sarajevo is now second in the table with 23 points, and Igman is tenth with nine.

The first real chance of the match came in the 6th minute, when Denković played a one-two with Ramić and shot from 16 meters just wide of the post.

In the 14th minute, Sarajevo took the lead. Hasić sent a long ball towards Anđušić, who made a great run in front of the unsuspecting Dupovac, and then beat Ćeman for the lead of the bordo team!

Oliveira could have doubled Sarajevo's lead four minutes later, he brilliantly got past Sipović, but ultimately shot just wide of the post.

A minute later, Rogić fantastically stopped Denković in a one-on-one situation, and in the same minute, Anđušić headed from five meters straight at the well-positioned Ćeman.

However, in the 30th minute, Igman equalized to 1:1. Bodul shot from 20 meters, the ball grazed one of the Sarajevo players and changed direction, and Rogić failed to stop it on its way to the net.

Six minutes later, Avramovski beautifully found Oliveira, but Ćeman stopped the Brazilian in a huge chance!

Denković shot cleverly in the 40th minute, but the ball ended up wide of the goal.

In stoppage time of the first half, Bodul crossed from a free kick, Sipović hit the target, but the goal was disallowed for offside.

Denković made a fantastic run down the right side in the 53rd minute, then found Ramić, but his shot ended just over the crossbar.

In the 55th minute, Hasić shot from a free kick, but Ćeman saved it. Three minutes later, Ćeman fantastically stopped Anđušić in a great opportunity as well.

Denković on the other side shot nicely again, but once again sent the ball wide of the post.

A long lull followed after that, broken by a free kick attempt by Ziljkić in the 76th minute. The Sarajevo captain cleared the wall, but was not the most accurate.

In the 79th minute, Ramić was jumping five meters from Sarajevo's goal, but failed to deflect the ball into the net, just as two minutes later when he was milliseconds late for a cross from the right side.

Denković had a colossal chance in the 83rd minute, brilliantly played through by Đorić, but the Montenegrin shot wide of the goal!

In the 85th minute, Ziljkić went alone towards Igman's goal, but it took him so long to set himself for the shot that Đorić caught up to him completely and lightly blocked it.

The decision on the winner came in the 89th minute. Mulalić crossed from a corner to the five-meter line, from where Radović shot, and Buturović deflected the ball into his own net for Sarajevo's victory.
