Sarajevo's player eliminated Željezničar at Tušanj, Sloboda advances

(Patria) - The last match of the round of 32 of the BiH Cup was played tonight at Tušanj between Sloboda and Željezničar. Sloboda secured a place in the next stage of the competition with a 1-0 victory, while Željezničar was eliminated from the BiH Cup and extended its crisis…

There were no goals in the first half, and the first 45 minutes were marked by events not happening on the field. Namely, in the 17th minute of the match, Sloboda's most fervent fans, Fukare, marked the anniversary of the formation of the Second Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with flags bearing lilies waving in the stands of the Tušanj stadium.

However, the main referee Dražen Marić briefly interrupted the match for the announcer to warn Sloboda's fans to remove the ARBiH flag. This, at least as far as we could see, did not happen.

After a short break, the match continued. Sloboda was slightly more effective in the first half, and the teams went into halftime with a 0-0 score.

The second half brought new excitement. Željezničar started the second half more offensively, while Sloboda defended.

However, Hasanbegović had a great chance in front of Željezničar's goal in the 60th minute, but he shot header over the goal. Just a minute later, Dilaver had another chance, but the score remained unchanged.

It was the 82nd minute when substitute player and Sarajevo player on loan at Sloboda, Tarik Kapetanović, froze his opponents from Sarajevo.

Kapetanović scored a beautiful goal for 1-0, and it turned out that with his goal, Sloboda advanced, and Željezničar was eliminated from the Cup.
