Footballer from Grude dies on the field during a match

TOMISLAVGRAD, (Patria) - A member of the veteran football team Gruda died during a match between veterans of Tomislav and Gruda in the last round of the autumn part of the veteran football league.

Namely, during the match, Gruda footballer Branimir Biška, born in 1958, suddenly felt unwell and collapsed on the field.

Players and coaches attempted resuscitation until the arrival of an ambulance, which transported the unfortunate Biška to the Tomislavgrad Health Center; however, doctors could only confirm that the player had died.

The president of HNK Tomislav, Ilija Bagarić, on behalf of the players and management of HNK Tomislav, expressed regret over this unfortunate event on the HNK Tomislav field and condolences to the family of the deceased Biška, as well as to the members and leadership of the Grude Football Club.
