FOOTBALL Dragons ready for clash with Americans

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina had their last training session last night on the fields of Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles before tonight's friendly match with the United States of America.

The professional staff emphasizes that they are satisfied with the players' work during the preparation period and that the team is ready for the match.

Hrvoje Barišić, who had a problem with his ankle, also trained and will be available for the match.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will be exclusively represented by players from the m:tel Premier League of BiH in this duel, and on the other side, the United States will also field representatives from their domestic competition - the MLS league.

The BiH team's list includes 18 players from eight premier league clubs, with Borac and Sarajevo having the most representatives, 4 each. 25 players from 11 different teams are competing for the American team, with Colorado Rapids having the most representatives with 4.

Both teams will field mostly young players. The average age of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team players is 23 years and 310 days, and that of the USA is 22 years and 176 days.

The American national team has achieved 16 wins in this calendar year, equaling their record from 2013.

The match between the United States of America and Bosnia and Herzegovina is scheduled for December 18 at 5:15 PM local time (02:15 CET) at Dignity Health Sports Park in Los Angeles.
