(Patria) - As Zenicablog learns, yesterday in the late afternoon hours, the mayor of Zenica, Fuad Kasumović, was admitted to the Cantonal Hospital due to injuries.
According to unofficial information, Kasumović sustained burns and was admitted to the Emergency Unit of the Cantonal Hospital Zenica with injuries to his right arm, right leg, and face, Zenicablog reports.
The burns occurred, according to unofficial information, during work in the yard involving the use of gasoline, when the fire spread and ignited.
After admission and treatment of the injuries, Kasumović was not hospitalized but was released for home care with an obligation to report for dressing changes.
According to data obtained by Zenicablog from individuals close to the mayor, after treatment in the Emergency Unit, Kasumović was transferred to the Department of Plastic Surgery, where it was determined that the injuries were superficial in nature and as such did not require hospitalization.
Dressing changes for the injuries are planned in the coming period. According to the classification of injuries, first and second-degree burns are considered injuries that are not serious in nature and do not significantly threaten the patient's ability and health.
It was not possible to verify and obtain official data, but unofficial information from the Cantonal Hospital indicates that these are superficial burns that do not leave serious permanent consequences and are successfully treated through professional medical intervention.
