Photographer Haris Čalkić presents his Fine Dust

Haris Čalkić, a young photographer after ten years of doing this job, held his first solo photography exhibition in Zenica titled "Fine Dust", writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As he said, the photographs are 150 by 85 centimetres in size, and he has been dealing with the theme for years, and the installation consists of 20 photographs.

As the author explains, fine dust is called 'PM 10' from the atmosphere and consists of tiny molecules that, when inhaled, reach the lungs and can enter the blood, thus directly affecting the cardiovascular system of the entire organism, which is why he symbolically chose this name for the exhibition.

- In discussions about Zenica, there are few kind words, most often steel, chimneys, prison, workers, miners... And even when it was pampered, apocalypse thundered from every word – “city of fire and smoke” or “seething city”. There is no “sweet talk” with which beautiful cities are described, so it seems there is not much to say about Zenica. It was not always like that, once it was flattered with choice words - says writer Selvedin Avdić about the exhibition.

The exhibition will last three days.
