PHOTO Futsal national team started preparations for the playoff match against Kazakhstan

The futsal national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina had its first training session today in the Zenica "Arena", as part of preparations for the playoff match against Kazakhstan, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

The playoff match within the qualifications for next year's European Championship in Serbia will be played by BiH and Kazakhstan on September 15 in Zenica, and the return match is on September 22 in Kazakhstan.

Coach Boro Matan believes that our national team can defeat the Kazakhstan team, even though they are quality opponents.

- We will make the most of the time until the match and prepare well for the playoffs – said Matan, adding that the BiH national team has been strengthened with a new player, Meris Duraković, who plays in Belgium.

The Kazakhstan team is precisely the team that BiH wanted to avoid in the playoffs, as they are an extremely high-quality selection. Nevertheless, the players are optimistic.

Captain Nijaz Mulahmetović said that the entire team has only one goal, and that is to qualify for the European Championship.

- We are playing against a team we did not wish for. It will surely be difficult, but there is no surrender, we have our qualities – said Mulahmetović.
