Forto does not know when the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina will decide on the call for applications for the new director of BHANSA

(Patria) - At today's session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, delegates posed questions to the present members of the Council of Ministers, and delegate Džemal Smajić directed a question to the Minister of Transport and Communications Edin Forto regarding the announcement of a call for applications for the director of BHANSA.

Forto confirmed that it is not the BHANSA Council that conducts the call and appoints the director, but rather the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has not yet made a decision. The BHANSA Council sent an urgent request to the Council of Ministers on May 7 to consider information about the expiration of the mandate of BHANSA director Davorin Primorac, and on May 25 to the General Secretariat.

"When this information will be placed on the agenda of the Council of Ministers is a question for the General Secretariat. One of the conclusions in the information is that a new call should be announced, and that would be a new director according to the current law," Forto stated.

Primorac is otherwise the son-in-law of Dragan Čović, and has been in the position of director for 11 years.

The session of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was scheduled for June 11, and this information was on the agenda, but the agenda has now been removed from the Council of Ministers' website with a note that a new proposal for the agenda will be published later.
