FK Sarajevo suspends Radovac, warnings for Alispahić, Velkoski, Duljević and Uščuplić

The management of FK Sarajevo, in accordance with the Club's disciplinary rules, has decided to fine and indefinitely suspend first-team player Samir Radovac due to misconduct and damage to the reputation of FK Sarajevo, following the match of the 5th round of the BH Telecom Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, played on Saturday, August 22 of this year, in which Sarajevo was a guest of Čelik, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

In addition to Radovac, who was fined and suspended, several other first-team players of FK Sarajevo received warnings for violations of the disciplinary rules, as well as for insufficient effort on the green pitch. These are Mehmed Alispahić, Krste Velkoski and Haris Duljević, who are required to show more commitment and a better attitude towards the jersey they wear, in order to make a maximum contribution to achieving the club's goals.

Also, due to inappropriate public statements after the match between Čelik and Sarajevo in the previous round, the head coach of FK Sarajevo, Dženan Uščuplić, was warned. His work focus should be based exclusively on improving the first team's performances and improving the points tally and position on the league table.

In order to establish clear principles of responsibility, the Presidency of FK Sarajevo, regarding the recent events at Titova 38/b, has sent a request to the Board of Directors for the urgent adoption of proposed improved and detailed regulations on public media appearances, including communication channels on social networks, and all other forms of possible public appearances. The need for urgent adoption of amendments to the Rules on Rewards and Penalties was also expressed, in provisions relating to professionalism, sporting life and maintaining the sports fitness required for competitive matches.

Together with other conclusions reached at the meeting of the Club's Presidency, all these measures and activities aim to improve all club departments, in order to create additional preconditions for the worthy preservation of the reputation and tradition of the largest sports club in Bosnia and Herzegovina, FK Sarajevo, and for the Club to achieve the desired sports results in the coming period.
