
SARAJevo, (Patria) - Chairman of the Council of Ministers Zoran Tegeltija held the third session of the BiH Fiscal Council today, attended by all six members of the BiH Fiscal Council, and a Letter of Intent with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was agreed upon, through which BiH is seeking financial support within the framework of the Rapid Financing Instrument, as part of efforts to curb the spread of coronavirus.
The session also agreed on the distribution of IMF funds, so based on the withdrawal, the Federation of BiH will receive 62%, Republika Srpska 38%, and it was agreed that each entity will distribute 0.5% of its share to Brčko District.
We remind you that the session was preceded by a meeting between the leaders of SDA Bakir Izetbegović, HDZ BiH Dragan Čović, and SNSD leader Milorad Dodik with officials from the EU, IMF, and the US Embassy, where the distribution was agreed upon.
