Financial support for the Old Timer Club Sarajevo

In the premises of the Centar Municipality Sarajevo, a contract was signed for the realization of grants to non-profit organizations, through which the Municipality allocates 1,500 KM from the 2015 budget to the Association "Lovers of Old Cars - Old Timer Club Sarajevo" for co-financing the organization of the "13th International Oldtimer Event - Smile for Sarajevo 2015".

On behalf of the Centar Municipality, the protocol was signed by Mayor Dževad Bećirević, and on behalf of the association, by President Nedim Husić, who stated on this occasion that the Centar Municipality has been supporting this event for many years, the main ceremony of which is held on the Theatre Square - Susan Sontag in front of the National Theatre.

- This year, as part of this event, we organized activities in the area of all four city municipalities and in Vogošća, and in front of the National Theatre, the main event is traditionally held where visitors chose the most beautiful and oldest car, the best restored car... At the well-attended event, out of 67 displayed oldtimers from BiH, the region, and Europe, the oldest vehicle was a Ford from 1932 from Hungary. This year, we distributed educational picture books about traffic safety to the youngest visitors, said Husić.

This year's 13th International Oldtimer Event was held as part of the Centar Municipality Days, which are celebrated every year from May 2nd to 9th.

Zakira Šero, Assistant to the Mayor of Centar Municipality for Education, Culture and Sport, also attended the signing of the protocol, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
