SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The International Football Association Board, based on FIFA's proposal, has decided to allow clubs five substitutions in one match for all competitions that have started or are planned to start and be completed by December 31, 2020.
The decision was made for the benefit of the players, given that they will be under great pressure playing a large number of matches in a short period of time.
Each team will be able to stop the match three times to make substitutions, and changes to the team can also be made at halftime.
This decision takes effect immediately, and FIFA will later consider whether it will also apply to competitions to be completed in 2021.
