
The World Football Federation (FIFA) will donate two million US dollars for the reconstruction of football infrastructure in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia and Romania that was damaged in the unprecedented floods that hit these countries last month, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).
This decision was made by the FIFA Finance Committee, after the congress of this organization opened last night in Sao Paulo, ahead of the start of the World Cup in Brazil.
The congress was opened by the head of this organization, Sepp Blatter, and the meeting is attended by representatives of as many as 209 members of this world organization, NAP reports. At the congress, on behalf of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the president of the NSBIH, Elvedin Begić, is participating.
