Feraget: This verdict is a wind in the back of the investigation into the murder of Dženan Memić

(Patria) - Today we got two culprits, two convicts. Alisa Mutap, for whom Dalida Burzić said I won't give her up, but the court also took Hasan Dupovac, said lawyer Ifet Feraget to reporters after part of the guilty verdict against Alisa Mutap and Dupovac, while three others were acquitted.

"I am satisfied because this is a wind in the back of the investigation into the murder of Dženan Memić. The Cantonal Prosecutor's Office could and should have known all of this. It consciously and intentionally led the event as a traffic accident, they faked amnesia, Alisa's false testimony was intended to lead the entire investigation astray", said Feraget.

He reminded that he filed criminal charges against 45 people.

"Dalida Burzić, eight cantonal prosecutors, some of whom also work here in the BiH Prosecutor's Office, federal prosecutors. Prosecutor Zdravko Knežević told us that the mafia was stronger. The injured party must be persistent and we must all get involved, and in the end, we expect the investigation into the murder to yield results. Everyone knew that Dženan was murdered and they tried to hide it and present it all as a traffic accident", said Feraget.

Feraget said that the court determined that Mutap and Dupovac committed these criminal offenses.

"Here, the court gained the impression that there is a much greater probability that these people are guilty. I am satisfied with this verdict. There is a right to appeal this verdict.
The Law on Criminal Procedure of BiH allows the right to appeal the guilty part, and I believe that the Prosecutor's Office will also appeal the sentence. The third-instance court will make the final decision", said Feraget.
