Fener celebrates high victory, Džeko scores and equals top scorer list

(Patria) - Fenerbahce team tonight convincingly defeated Sivasspor at their stadium with a score of 4:1 as part of the 14th round of the Turkish Super League.

The hosts had a 2-0 lead at halftime with goals from Sebastian Szymanski and Irfan Kahveci.

However, the guests came back to life in the 50th minute when Rey Manaj scored.

In the 68th minute of the match, Edin Džeko sent a low pass that hit the unfortunate Alaadin Okumus, deceiving the visiting goalkeeper, thus bringing joy to Fenerbahce fans and a 3-1 lead.

The Balkan connection worked in the 75th minute when Dušan Tadić assisted our "Diamond" who scored a goal for 4-1, resolving all doubts about the winner.

With tonight's goal, Džeko equaled Mauro Icardi on the scorers' list, who also has 11 goals, writes SCsport.ba.

Fenerbahce is currently the first team in the league with the same number of points as Galatasaray.
