Fatić and Džumhur in the final of the ATP Challenger in Sibiu, Romania

(Patria) - Bosnian-Herzegovinian tennis player Damir Džumhur has advanced to the final of the ATP Challenger being played in Sibiu, Romania.

Damir Džumhur is the second finalist of the ATP Challenger tournament being played in the Romanian city of Sibiu.

In the semi-final match, he defeated Italian tennis player Flavio Cobolli with a score of 2:0 in sets after one hour and 53 minutes of play.

The first set did not go easily for Džumhur. After defending his serve in the first game and winning it, the game went point for point. Neither of the players lost their serve. Only in the 12th game did Cobolli lose his serve, and Džumhur won the set with 7:5 in games.

The second set was no easier. Both players gave their maximum, but also made many mistakes. However, Džumhur also won the second set with 6:4 in games.

With this victory, Damir Džumhur advanced to the final, where, just like last year at this tournament, he will play against another Bosnian-Herzegovinian tennis player, Nerman Fatić. In last year's final, Fatić was better with a score of 2:0 in sets.

Let us remind you, Fatić advanced to the final earlier today after defeating Hungarian Zsombor Piros with a score of 2:1 in sets.

The final of the ATP Challenger in Sibiu, Romania, is scheduled for tomorrow.
