(Patria) - The Phoenix Suns were defeated at home last night by the Oklahoma City Thunder with a score of 110:118.

It was the second consecutive loss for the Suns, who after 61 games played have 35 wins and 26 losses, and currently occupy 7th place in the Western Conference.

A monstrous performance was delivered by Živiničanin Jusuf Nurkić in the home team's ranks, who for the umpteenth time this season recorded a double-double in two segments of the game.

In just over 32 minutes spent on the court, Nurkić recorded 14 points and as many as 31 rebounds, something the NBA hasn't seen since 2010.

The Bosnian basketball player also broke his Suns' record for the number of rebounds in a single game. The club record was previously held by Tyson Chandler and Paul Silas with 27 rebounds each.

This season, no one has grabbed more than 26 rebounds, so Nurkić is also the season's record holder.

The last such rebounding performance in the NBA was by Kevin Love 14 years ago. The league record holder is Wilt Chamberlain with 55 rebounds in a game against Boston in 1960.

Incidentally, for the defeated Suns, Bradley Beal had 31 points, while Kevin Durant added 20.

For Oklahoma, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander stood out with 35 points, and Jalen Williams added 22.
