Fantastic Dragons defeated Croatia in an almost unexpected comeback

(Patria) - The women's volleyball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Croatia 3:2 in sets in the 3rd round of the European Championship.

We saw a great fight between the two teams, and the Dragons after drama and a comeback secured a victory that leads them to the round of 16 of the European Championship.

Let us remind you, in the first round BiH defeated Switzerland, while in the second they were defeated by Bulgaria.

Until the middle of the first set, we watched an equal fight between the two teams, but then the Croatian women pulled away to +5 (19:14) and there was no way back for the Dragons.

The first set ended with a score of 25:19 in favor of Croatia, and a similar story was in the second set, only it went to BiH 25:18.

In the third set, Croatia regained the lead, winning 25:20.

In the fourth set, it seemed that Croatia was heading towards victory, but the Dragons made a great series after a timeout by Stevan Ljubičić.

They won five points in a row and took a 22:19 lead, followed by drama. Our girls missed a set point, but then they won two points in a row and celebrated 26:24.

The momentum in the decisive fifth set was completely on the side of the BiH team, the Dragons used it and quickly reached a big lead of 8:2, and had no problems reaching victory.

They finished the fifth set with a score of 15:6 in their favor!

It is almost certain now that BiH is in the knockout phase of the Old Continent championship, and the next match the volleyball players play on Monday against Romania.

Then at the closing of the group stage on Tuesday, our rivals are the strong Italians, who want to win the European gold.
