EUROFARM Centar acquires the most modern CT scanner in the region, discount for first 200 appointments

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The largest BH private healthcare institution EUROFARM Centar has introduced the Canon Aquilion One CT scanner to the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina – the most modern device of its kind in our region. The CT Aquilion One enables fast and simple CT scans and diagnostics of all organ systems with 3D images, and is an ideal device for diagnostic imaging of moving organs, such as the heart and lungs, with a reduced amount of contrast compared to that used in conventional CT scans.

Due to as much as 85% less radiation compared to standard CT devices and minimal motion artifacts, the device is suitable for examinations of pediatric patients. Also, this CT scanner allows for virtual colonoscopy (a painless and non-invasive method for diagnosing colon diseases) and bronchoscopy (diagnostics of airway diseases).

According to the Executive Director of EUROFARM Centar, Kenan Kekić, this CT scanner will facilitate examinations for a large number of patients in our country, and he proudly emphasizes that this is the most modern CT device in our region.

"The decision of EUROFARM Centar to acquire this CT scanner is part of our strategic decision to offer patients the best service in the region. This is only possible with top-notch equipment and top experts who make up the Eurofarm team," Kekić points out.

With the CT Aquilion One device, you can perform imaging of the abdomen and pelvis, thoracic organs, brain, ear, eye, paranasal sinuses, neck, as well as CT of the spine, all bones, joints, and muscles, and it is especially suitable for coronary angiography (diagnostic examination of the heart's blood vessels) and angiography of all blood vessels (legs, arms, neck, brain, abdomen, and chest).

To enable as many citizens of our country as possible to use this service, EUROFARM Centar has provided a 40% discount for the first 200 scheduled appointments, and the examinations will be performed in the modern radiology center of this institution in Sarajevo, at the UNITIC business unit, at the address Fra Anđela Zvizdovića 1.
