EURO Futsal BiH National Team Tonight Against Georgia

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The futsal national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues its competition at the European Championship in the Netherlands with today's second-round match against Georgia.

The BiH national team, after a loss to Spain (1:5) at the start of the championship, plays its key match at the EP tonight against Georgia, which surprised Azerbaijan (3:2) in the first round. The BiH team is optimistic ahead of this match and hopes for a positive result that would keep them in the race for the quarterfinals, although they express respect for the Georgian national team.

Our national team player Srđan Ivanković points out that the players had enough time to rest and prepare for the match with Georgia.

"We perhaps respected Spain too much, but we know where we made mistakes and those things will not happen again. Now we expect an opponent who has a good and experienced team, strong in the pivot positions. Our goal is to stop the ball circulation to their pivot Elisandro, who is the most dangerous player in the Georgian team. On the other hand, with the return of goalkeeper Darko Milanović, we gain a new dimension in the game. We can play with a 'plus one', which should allow us greater ball possession.
