EURO 2022. BiH Futsal Team to Play Spain on January 22

(Patria) - The twelfth UEFA European Futsal Championship will be held from January 19 to February 6 in the Dutch cities of Amsterdam and Groningen.

For the first time at the biggest European futsal event, the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will participate, having won first place in its group in the qualifiers, ahead of Serbia, Romania, and North Macedonia.

The opponents of the BiH team at EURO 2022 in Group D will be the selections of Spain, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.

In the opening match, Bosnia and Herzegovina will face the main favorite, Spain, whom they will play against on January 22 in Groningen. In the 2nd round, BiH will play against Georgia on January 26, also in Groningen, while their last group match will be against Azerbaijan on January 29 in Amsterdam.

On the world ranking list of the best national teams, BiH is ranked 24th, Georgia is 29th, Azerbaijan is 12th, and Spain is in second place on the Futsal ranking list.

Group B:
