EU allocates 80 billion euros for research and innovation, BiH companies can participate

The Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina is organizing an "info day" for companies on the topic "Horizon 2020 – financing opportunities for innovative products and services for small and medium-sized enterprises", it was announced from the Chamber, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

The info day will be held on 16.12.2014. in the premises of the Chamber in Sarajevo, starting at 10 AM.

"HORIZON 2020" is the EU's largest program to date dedicated to research and innovation, with a budget of 80 billion euros for the period from 2014 to 2020.

The program aims to stimulate economic growth and create new jobs in the European Union and improve the global competitiveness of companies from the European Union, as well as from other participating countries in the Program.

The event will present examples of successful projects within the Seventh Framework Programme for Research and Development (FP7 2007-2013), as well as experiences in submitting project applications for HORIZON 2020. The info day will be an excellent opportunity for participants to obtain necessary practical information on how to prepare a successful project proposal for HORIZON 2020, the statement further states.

The speakers at this event have directly participated in various phases of the preparation and implementation of projects in this field and will present their experiences to the participants, and in the final part of the event, participants will have the opportunity to ask direct questions to the speakers.

The participation fee for the event is 46.80 KM (with VAT) per participant. For two participants from the same organization, the participation fee for each participant is 35.10 KM (with VAT), and the participation of a third participant from the same organization is free. The participation fee includes lectures, materials, and refreshments during scheduled breaks. Participation for companies from flood-affected areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina is free, NAP reports.
