As part of this project, with a total value of 10 million euros, the European Union is financing the clearance of mine-suspected areas and the procurement of equipment necessary for conducting mine action activities of BHMAC and entity civil protection administrations.
Today, Adebayo Babajide, Deputy Head of the European Union Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Enis Horozović, Director of BHMAC, and Mijo Pranjić, Chair of the Demining Commission and Advisor to the Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH, will address the audience.
Currently, about 1.6% of the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina is still affected by mines.
