Bosnia and Herzegovina activated the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism to enable the organized return of its citizens affected by the security crisis and conflicts in the Middle East.
One of the repatriation flights from Riyadh to Warsaw is planned for March 11, 2026, for which 11 citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina have registered so far.
As announced by the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, the operation is coordinated by the European Emergency Response Coordination Centre, which provides support to member states and partner countries in organizing the evacuation and repatriation of citizens.
According to available information, the first return flights have already begun, and the evacuation is being carried out through joint operations and coordination of several countries participating in the civil protection mechanism.
