Erling Haaland best footballer in Europe

(Patria) - UEFA today awarded prizes for the best male player, female player, and coach.

The award for the best footballer of the year went to Manchester City player Erling Braut Haaland.

The best female footballer is Spaniard Aitana Bonmati, a star for Barcelona and the Spanish national team, and one of the first female footballers to win the World Cup and the Champions League in the same season.

The awards for the best coaches went to Pep Guardiola and Sarina Wiegman.

Guardiola won a treble with Manchester City last season - the Champions League, the English league, and the FA Cup, reports Index.hr.

Sarina Wiegman is the England manager, who has reached four consecutive World Cup finals and is "an inspiration to female coaches worldwide," according to UEFA.
