
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan will visit Sarajevo on July 8 and 9, on the occasion of the summit of the Southeast European Cooperation Process (SEECP) chaired by Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Head of Communications at the Turkish Presidency Fahrettin Altun announced Erdogan's visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina via Twitter.
He reminded that Turkey strongly supports the Southeast European Cooperation Process, BHT reports.
"Steps to develop cooperation in the Balkans, primarily in economy, trade, transport, infrastructure, and investments, will be discussed at the meeting," Altun announced.
He added that Erdogan is expected to meet with members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina and leaders of some participating countries of the summit during his visit.
Erdogan is also expected to meet with the delegation of the Turkish battalion operating within EUFOR in BiH.
