(Patria) - The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo has confirmed the indictment of the KS Prosecutor's Office against Afghan citizen Ismail Ghani and Faisal Ahmadzai for the attempted murder of several persons of Asian origin.
The accused are charged that on May 26th of this year, in the evening hours, they, along with two other individuals known to them who are currently on the run, arrived armed in Kamenolom Street in the Ilidža municipality, where several persons of Asian origin were present.
They covered their weapons with blankets, and after approaching them, they took out rifles and a pistol and started shooting at them. They fired at least 22 shots and wounded six migrants, four of whom sustained serious injuries.
The accused then fled. They were arrested shortly after the conflict.
In the indictment, the acting prosecutor proposed extending their detention. For the main trial, it is proposed to hear 16 witnesses, four experts, and present more than 100 pieces of material evidence.
