Emrić: We reject anyone's blackmail, especially the SDP's demand that NES cannot be part of the HNK Government!

(Patria) - Representatives of the Cantonal Boards of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton SDA and NES, with the presence of members of the Presidencies of both parties, held a meeting today in Sarajevo on the topic of forming the HNK Government.

Jasmin Emrić, NES state representative for Patria, says that they from NES emphasized the stance that based on the cooperation so far, the partnership between these two parties should be preserved for joint action, respecting the specific political structure and circumstances in which the Government and Assembly of HNK will operate.

“In this regard, we do not accept the belittling of our political activities so far and our efforts to achieve a stable and quality solution for the composition of the future Government and the parliamentary majority of HNK. We reject anyone's blackmail, especially the SDP's demand that NES cannot be part of the HNK Government. Agreeing to blackmail means disrupting the partnership and fulfilling the unfounded claims of those who change their stance on the 'desirable political partner' in HNK every few months,” Emrić stated explicitly.

He added that ‘the fact that some SDA representatives in HNK are in a hurry to finalize things before the official stance of the SDA 'top' for some personal interests is an unserious and irresponsible approach’.

“This represents a political risk and inconsistency for the future of our relations. Therefore, the SDA decides whether we continue the political partnership in HNK or if they will accept the unprincipled blackmail of the SDP,” says Emrić.

The formation of the HNK Government is impossible to consider without HDZ BiH, which is why it is worth repeating the statement of Ilija Cvitanović, president of HDZ 1990, who confirmed for political.ba that no one has called them and that they will not impose themselves.

"In the talks about forming the government of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, I don't see anyone being sincere. Moreover, I believe it is a classic political hypocrisy, playing games and underestimating all residents of HNK. This situation only benefits the structures in power, which are HDZ Bosnia and Herzegovina. My assessment is that their goal is not to form the HNK Government at all,” says Cvitanović.

Therefore, it can be clearly concluded that the HNK Government will not be formed so quickly, especially if we take into account the fact that local party officials are not following the political decisions of the party leadership!

In this context, it should be recalled that in January of this year, NES was a desirable partner for the SDP in HNK, and SDA was not, and now the situation is reversed.
