Emotions at Grbavica: Dragons trained ahead of the match with Belgium

The representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina held a training session at the Grbavica stadium, ahead of the match with Belgium on Saturday, October 7. Coach Dragan Perić said that there is pressure because it is a very important match that brings a lot.

- However, these players have played a large number of such matches and can't wait to step onto the field. Everyone who is here is ready. We are also monitoring developments in the Belgian camp. It is a team that has multiple players in every position who can equally compete for a spot in the team. They will surely play in the way they have so far, and we must respond in the right way. Our players are also in good form, and I hope we will achieve our goal, which is victory.

Reporters were also interested in how the absence of Miralem Pjanić would be compensated for, and what the team's impressions were about playing at Grbavica, to which Perić replied:

- Pjanić is a player who is difficult to replace, but I hope the team will compensate for his absence with running and desire. We are also glad that we will be playing at Grbavica, and we hope it will be a lucky venue for us. The coach came to the stadium today with a lot of emotion, and it means a lot to him that the match will be played here, as it does to all of us.

Goalkeeper Asmir Begović said that the preparations are proceeding as they should.

- Everything is normal, there is nervousness to the extent that there is before every match. We strive to do our job in the best possible way. We have to play smart, be concentrated for 90 minutes, and minimize mistakes.

The national team players were also supported during the training by members of the youth competitive categories of FK Željezničar.
