Emir Suljagić questioned in case against RTRs for genocide denial

(Patria) - Director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center (MC) Emir Suljagić announced on his X profile that he was questioned as a witness in the case against the editorial board of Radio Television of Republika Srpska for genocide denial.

The president of the Association of Journalists of RS, Danijel Simić, stated in mid-November 2022, while a guest on RTRs, that "every year in Srebrenica, a Potočari play is held," alluding to July 11th.

Immediately after, Suljagić announced on his X profile that he would file a criminal complaint with the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

"Today, I was questioned as a witness and complainant in the investigation against Danijel Simić and the editorial board of RTRs for genocide denial. We are always available to BiH institutions," Suljagić stated today.

Danas sam, u svojstvu svjedoka i podnosioca krivične prijave, saslušan u predmetu istrage protiv Danijela Simića i uredništva RTRS zbog negiranja genocida. Uvijek smo na raspolaganju institucijama BiH.
