Emina Hadžihametović at the table tennis tournament in Luxembourg

Emina Hadžiahmetović, the most successful Bosnian table tennis player, will also participate in the ITTF tournament in Luxembourg this year, which takes place from April 15 to 18, writes the Patria news agency.

The results achieved by table tennis players at this tournament count towards the senior world rankings.

Last year, Hadžiahmetović showed at this sporting event that she deserves a place among the best. She then took third place together with Luxembourg's Sarah Deenutte.

- I will always fondly remember last year and third place in Luxembourg. It is my greatest success in the senior competition, and it would be wonderful to repeat this result this year - says Emina Hadžiahmetović.

The fantastic athlete travels to the competition on Tuesday in the company of her sister and coach Amela Hadžiahmetović – Mujezinović.

With notable results, Hadžiahmetović has also secured a place on the list of 11 Bosnian athletes for whom the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the "Olympic Solidarity" fund of the International Olympic Committee, has provided scholarships for potential candidates for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
