Elvis Ćustendil Sentenced to One Month in Detention

(Patria) - Elvis Ćustendil, suspected of murdering Amra Kahrimanović, has been sentenced to one month in detention.

The measure was imposed by the Cantonal Court in Tuzla.

Ćustendil is suspected of having, after the co-owner of the catering facility in the Sjenjak Mall in Tuzla, Amra Kahrimanović, arrived around 9 PM to close the facility and left the premises, suddenly stood up, followed the victim, and in the mall's hallway, from close range, fired one shot into the victim's back with a service pistol from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tuzla Canton, where he was employed in the operational center, and then, while the victim was lying on the floor, fired another fifteen shots into various parts of her body, killing her.

The suspect was apprehended shortly after the incident by members of the Support Unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tuzla Canton in front of the building where he lives in Tuzla. Members of the Criminal Police Sector conducted a criminal investigation, and the suspect was handed over to the Prosecutor's Office along with a report on the committed criminal offense.

The acting prosecutor issued an order to conduct an investigation and questioned the suspect at the Prosecutor's Office.
