(Patria) - Eighty competitors from eleven countries, including Elvedina Muzaferija, started today in the Europa Cup Super-G race.
The fastest in La Thuile was Teresa Runggaldier (ITA), who crossed the finish line on the home slope with a time of 1:01.02 seconds.
She was followed by Swiss skiers Malorie Blanc and Jasmina Suter, with deficits of fourteen and forty-five hundredths of a second.
The best Bosnian-Herzegovinian alpine skier Elvedina Muzaferija, in her first Europa Cup race of the season, finished in 23rd place with a deficit of 2.27 seconds, earning 8 points.
- I stayed among the top 25 skiers and maintained my points-scoring streak, which is the most important thing. I am aware of what cost me a better ranking today. In a way, this increases my ambition for tomorrow's performance - Muzaferija stated.
The second Super-G race in La Thuile, Italy, is scheduled for tomorrow, starting at 11 AM.
