(Patria) - The best Bosnian-Herzegovinian skier Elvedina Muzaferija will not compete in the World Cup downhill race in Kvitfjell, Norway tomorrow. Before this weekend, Muzaferija was 23rd in the downhill standings and after the cancellation of the race in Norway, she secured a place in the World Cup final where the 25 best skiers in this discipline will compete.
The final will be held in Saalbach, Austria on March 23.
In the races so far, Muzaferija has collected a total of 102 points in the World Cup. In the Super-G discipline, she won 33 points, and in downhill, 69 points.
In the overall standings of the disciplines, Muzaferija currently holds 29th place in Super-G and 23rd place in downhill, so we will enjoy her performance at the World Cup final in downhill.
Depending on the weather conditions in Kvitfjell, Norway, it is possible that one of the earlier super-G races will be made up, with another one being organized, but the FIS decision is expected tonight. If competitions are organized, Muzaferija would have the opportunity to qualify for the World Cup final in super-G as well.
