(Patria) - Elvedina Muzaferija has made history for Bosnian skiing in the Super G race in Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The best Bosnian skier finished the race in an excellent 14th place, which is the best result in the history of Bosnian skiing.

The previous best result was 15th place, also by Elvedina Muzaferija in the super combined at the World Championship in France, writes Faktor.

Muzaferija recorded a time of 1:22.58, finishing 1.83 seconds behind the winner, Switzerland's Lara Gut-Behrami.

Thanks to this career-best result, she earned 18 World Cup points.

As a reminder, Muzaferija secured her first World Cup points of the season yesterday, finishing in 25th place in the downhill. With that result, she earned six points.
