Eli Gutman: Everything was fine until we got Belgium

We will be one of the main contenders in the group, said the coach of the Israeli national football team Eli Gutman, commenting on today's draw result for Euro 2016, in which his team is in a group with Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belgium, Cyprus, Wales, and Andorra. Gutman seems optimistic and somewhat underestimates Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- I was laughing and satisfied until we drew Belgium. I was very happy until they came up. It will be a very tight and even competition in the group. We will have to give our all and even more. We will fight and there will be no easy matches – said Gutman.

He did not comment on the group's competitors individually, but said he was glad they avoided Germany, Italy, Portugal, or the Netherlands, who, in his opinion, are in a league of their own. Israel has not qualified for any major competition since 1970.
