(Patria) - Elektroprivreda HZHB reacted after Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine announced yesterday that it had re-taken ownership of the Mostar Hydroelectric Power Plant, stating that such claims are untrue.
In their statement, they emphasize that their request for ownership registration was fully accepted on April 13th of this year.
"The request of Public Company 'Elektroprivreda Hrvatske zajednice Herceg Bosne' joint-stock company Mostar, submitted in 2021, was fully adopted by the decisions of the Department for Urbanism and Construction – Cadastral Service of the City of Mostar dated April 13, 2026. These decisions were preceded by the Decision of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property-Legal Affairs Sarajevo dated November 28, 2022, as well as the conclusion of administrative litigation before the competent Cantonal Court in Mostar, initiated by the lawsuit of JP 'Elektroprivreda BiH' d.d. Sarajevo, which was rejected by the court's verdict on May 27, 2025", the statement reads.
They also added that all different interpretations of legal proceedings are incorrect.
"The mentioned decisions in the cadastral record approved the registration of changes in user data, i.e., the holder of possession rights, in favor of Public Company 'Elektroprivreda Hrvatske zajednice Herceg Bosne' joint-stock company Mostar, for all real estate covered by the relevant request. This exclusively concerns real estate that, according to the expropriation line, constitutes the Mostar Hydroelectric Power Plant facility with its protective belt and infrastructure. We emphasize that certain media interpretations of legal activities in this case are factually incorrect", they stated.
