Elektroprivreda BiH returns its property registered under EP HZHB's ownership

(Patria) - JP Elektroprivreda BiH, upon reviewing the cadastre of the Federal Administration for Geodetic and Property Affairs, notes that all 5 cadastral municipalities that were previously registered as property of JP Elektroprivreda HZHB by the activities of the City of Mostar Administration, have been returned to the owner, Hydroelectric Power Plants on the Neretva River.

"The changes in the cadastre are the result of activities that JP Elektroprivreda BiH urgently initiated after learning about the execution of ownership changes over the properties in favor of JP Elektroprivreda HZHB. JP Elektroprivreda BiH expresses its belief that the ongoing legal procedures will be conducted in accordance with regulations, and that it will be timely informed about the return of the owner by the delivery of the Decision," it was announced from JP Elektroprivreda BiH.

The Prime Minister of FBiH, Nermin Nikšić, also commented, emphasizing that cooperation between the two electric power companies must exist, but it must be based on law, the Constitution, and respect for undisputed legal facts.

"I congratulate the team of JP Elektroprivreda Bosne i Hercegovine on the successfully realized return of property in the area of the City of Mostar, which was illegally registered as property of Elektroprivreda Hrvatske zajednice Herceg Bosne.

This is a great success for the rule of law, for the legal teams who worked on this case, and who successfully completed the activities on the return of property," Nikšić stated.
