Elektroprivreda BiH: Power supply in Tuzla Canton still difficult, situation in Una-Sana Canton stabilizing

(Patria) - Thanks to the continuous engagement of the electro-montage teams of "Elektrodistribucija" Bihać, the supply of electricity customers in the Una-Sana Canton (USK) is stabilizing, Elektroprivreda BiH announced today.

Due to a failure in the infrastructure of Elektroprijenos BiH, which is not within the jurisdiction of Elektroprivreda BiH, problems in Velika Kladuša are still present, but not to the extent they were in previous days.

Regular work is underway on the 110 kV network of Elektroprijenos BiH, and some customers in Bihać are without electricity.

A complete normalization of supply throughout the canton is expected during the day, except possibly in some remote locations in Sanski Most, due to impassable road communications.

Failures on 35 kV power lines are the reason for the still difficult supply in Tuzla Canton (TK), especially in Tuzla, Živinice, and Srebrenik.

Additional teams from other municipalities of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) have been dispatched to fix failures in hard-to-reach locations in Vareš.

Although the inaccessibility of the terrain presents a problem for repairing failures in Zavidovići, Maglaj, Kakanj, and Olovo, stabilization of supply is expected during the day, as well as in the areas of Goražde and Nišići plateau in Sarajevo Canton, Elektroprivreda BiH stated.
