
SARAJevo, (Patria) - Incomplete remains of at least two persons were exhumed in the hamlet of Krstići, located in the village of Gornja Smoluća in the municipality of Lukavac.
According to information from the Institute for Missing Persons of BiH, it is presumed that these are victims of Serbian nationality from the past war who were being searched for in this area, the Institute for Missing Persons announced.
Bone fragments of the victims were found at the site of a burned-down house.
After the exhumation, the remains were transported to the morgue of the City Cemetery in Banja Luka for forensic and criminal-technical processing and for the collection of bone samples for DNA analysis.
The exhumation was conducted under the order of the Court of BiH and supervised by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
