Efendić: The Troika must not ask Čović about Stolac's problems, but they can easily agree to indebt us

(Patria) - Citizens of Stolac have been trying to fight for their rights in this city in the south of the country for a long time.

The latest in a series of problems they have encountered is the issue of the cemetery, the place where they will bury their loved ones. The Mayor of Stolac, Stjepan Bošković from HDZ, initially gave permission for the cemetery, only to withdraw it later for still unclear reasons. Because of this, the citizens of Stolac decided to take matters into their own hands and unilaterally fence off the designated cemetery.

On this occasion, the leader of SBiH, Semir Efendić, announced that meetings on this topic have been held in recent days and that Čović had time to resolve these important issues.

"A series of meetings were held in recent days on the topic of threatened rights of Bosniaks in the city of Stolac, where HDZ reigns supreme. Dragan Čović, despite numerous diplomatic activities, found time to resolve these important issues. Representatives of the Troika urgently asked the leader of HDZ to at least leave the dead Bosniaks alone, since the living have no rights. But…

Of course, this was not the topic of the meetings that Nikšić, Mijatović, and Konaković held with Čović, because they dare not even mention it in front of him," stated Efendić.

Efendić criticized the Troika for the meeting with Čović, where they agreed on a new loan but did not even discuss the problems of Bosniaks in Stolac.

"A new loan of KM 150 million was agreed upon at the meetings, for the least painful closure of mines in parts of the Federation of BiH where Bosniaks live. The money will be used to buy silence while mines, on which entire cities and regions depend for their livelihood, are closed instead of modernized.

In addition, the adoption of a new law on fiscalization was discussed, although fiscalization was implemented long ago. According to this law, the obligation to issue fiscal receipts for betting shops, which have billions of KM in annual turnover, is abolished, but the obligation of fiscalization is introduced for individual citizens who sell milk or vegetables from their own production at their doorstep. From now on, they will have to issue fiscal receipts for this and become subject to inspection.

Meanwhile, Troika representatives condemn the attacks on opposition leaders in RS, with whom they did not want to form a state government three years ago, but instead chose Dodik, on whose orders these attacks are carried out. And they hope everyone has forgotten about that…", concluded Efendić.
