Edin Džeko a friend of the Parent's House: Funds for apartment maintenance for the next three years

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Parent's House has been writing beautiful stories lately, all to make our brave parents and even braver children feel as comfortable as possible, as they fight their difficult battles.

All that remains for us is to support them, each in their own way and according to their capabilities, because with a smile and parents, everything is easier.

The importance of the Parent's House has long been recognized by the company Telemach, and one of its friends is Edin Džeko, captain of the BiH national team.

Today, they have decided, with combined efforts, to once again contribute to the work of the Parent's House, where they brought many smiles and instilled joy and enthusiasm through socializing with children and parents, which is the primary goal of all of us.

Telemach and Edin Džeko have decided to support the Association and the Parent's House by donating funds for the maintenance of one apartment for the next three years.

“We are very grateful to the Telemach Foundation and Edin Džeko for everything they do for the Association and the Parent's House. They have been our friends for a long time, and now our friendship has deepened even further. We are especially grateful for the children's smiles and the excitement that Edin Džeko's visit generated, and the children were more than happy and satisfied. This type of support is very significant, and we hope and expect that the rest of the social community will join in the same way,” said Fikret Kubat, director of the Association "Heart for Children Suffering from Cancer".

The apartments in the Parent's House have their names and are thematically decorated, so Telemach and Edin Džeko chose apartment no. 1, named “Start”, for their donation, thus symbolically starting a story that should inspire many. Namely, the annual cost of financing one apartment is 10,000 KM, and the contract with Telemach and Edin Džeko is signed for the next three years.

“Every visit of mine to the Parent's House evokes a special emotion. I have met many children, their parents who are constantly fighting, and this is just a small sign of attention to ease their struggle. They know what they are going through and how difficult it is for them. We share their pain, but as a society, we must stand behind them and at least slightly ease their struggle. Someone will do it with money, someone with a simple visit, and someone with smiles, it doesn't matter, because it's the least we can do. Telemach's initiative to help the work of the Parent's House is commendable, and I am happy to be a part of this story, and I invite others to contribute as well,” said Edin Džeko.
