(Patria) - Belgian footballer Eden Hazard (32) has decided to end his playing career.
Over the past decade, he was considered one of the best attackers in modern football.
"You have to listen to yourself and your body and say 'stop' at the right moment," he stated in an official announcement.
He leaves behind a career with 749 official matches, 200 goals, 193 assists, and 15 trophies.
He delivered his best performances at Chelsea between 2012 and 2019.
He won La Liga and the Premier League twice each, was twice crowned champion of the Europa League with the London 'Blues', and last year, in an episodic role, he celebrated winning the Champions League trophy with Real Madrid.
