(Patria) - The best BH tennis player Damir Džumhur (31) has advanced to the final round of qualifications for the ATP tournament in Bastad, Sweden.
Today, Damir defeated Francesco Maestrelli from Italy in the semi-finals of the qualifications with 2:1 in sets.
Džumhur won the first set 6:4, while the Italian tennis player won the second set 2:6.
However, Damir was better in the decisive set with 7:6 and advanced.
Our tennis player will play against the winner of the match Filip Mišolić – Karl Friberg in the final round of qualifications, writes Reprezentacija.ba
It should be noted that this was Džumhur's first victory after seven consecutive defeats.
